One of the complex functions I will have to implement when moving clients form D7 to Backdrop is Maps. On D7 I use getlocations, leaflet and Open Street (not Google). I tried a dozen combinations of modules in D7, and I finally got one where everything worked together. I would love to see if this is possible in Backdrop.
You have a Backdrop site set up and designed and you've added your content, but what else do you need to consider? Many site owners who create their own sites don't really know that they might need to add other things in order for their sites to be found on the Internet for the appropriate searches, like sitemap.xml, schema.org, etc.
This discussion is intended to be about those technical things a site needs to be "complete," which mostly fall under the category of technical SEO, really includes more than that, like accessibility, etc.
Nate Lampton was the original founder of the Backdrop project and remains a core committer. Nate chairs our weekly developer meetings and will use this session to share some thoughts and facilitate a discussion on core development priorities for the next release and beyond.
