With D2B I rarely use backdrop status, but one of the main goals when I am using it is to get a list of backdrop modules that I need to download in backdrop. At Midcamp there was an interesting request to generate drush/bee command that can be used on backdrop site to install modules that are needed for migration. The magin of "one-click" :)
I'm not going to be able to attend this discussion, but here are a couple of comments.
1) I'm inclined to make this a Thursday and Friday event, rather than Friday and Saturday. I've pushed back against this for a long time, but my personal observation is that there are many more people who are able to participate during the week and not on the weekend than the reverse.
2) I'm inclined to re-examine the global schedule (late night sessions in the USA), unless we are able to provide such sessions on Thursday night rather than Friday night.
If we move to Thursday and Friday, it might be worth trying the same global schedule at least once more.
These are my biggest thoughts. I'll have more thoughts later...
EDIT: Another idea is that we move to two events per year. One unconference, Backdrop LIVE, and one more traditional conference focused on presentations that are recorded.
Sorry, put actual links in comment and editing the previous comment and editing the comment didn't remove them. Here is the intended comment:
Slot 14 has "Email Best Practices" and "Extending Backdrop under the hood: hooks, preprocess functions and more." I think they would both be really helpful for many sites. It would be nice if they could be on different slots or either or both recorded.

I think it would be good to go over the similarities and differences between Bee and Drush. (I do not think it is important to spend a lot of time on Brush.) People familiar with Drupal, but not Backdrop, will likely be familiar with Drush, and coming from that view point to describe what Bee is, how to use it, etc. will be beneficial for those people.
That's one of the maintainers of the backstop generator module, I'll try to be there!
I'm reading this as a request for a session during our Nov 2025 Backdrop LIVE that addresses this question.
I have posted this request in Zulip to see if anyone is interested in facilitating a discussion on this topic.
If you are interested in facilitating this discussion. Just suggest a good time slot for you and we can add it to the schedule.
Here is one issue I have with theme settings.
https://github.com/backdrop/backdrop-issues/issues/6750
Any ideas on how to fix this one?
I think lots of folks have questions in this regard. I'm sure it will be discussed, but it may merit its own focused session.

Carry on.

Here is something I've been working on since the session ended:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1QyKD6w01GwGTS9ARqnu6WhAM8_ixOwbN-w1U...
If I can't make it I hope to watch the recording, so my request: if possible since this is in block B, can it be recorded?
I'll be relying on others for differences; my use of drush was fairly limited in D7 and non-existent in Backdrop.
We do try, where we are doing a comparable command to include the same aliases and, where feasible and sensible, arguments and options.

We did move this session to a different time slot.
